Lemming Loppet will take place at 22th of January

After last night’s snowfall, the northern Black Forest is beautifully white and the first cross-country ski trails could be machine-groomed on Kniebis. Therefore, the 6th Lemming Loppet will take place on January 22nd as planned. However, the routes, the route lengths and the number of laps must be adapted to the current snow situation. After a first lap on the night trail with a sprint rating in the ski stadium, it’s on to a larger lap that will be at least 5 km long. We hope, however, that a longer lap can be run on Sunday. The long marathon distance will therefore be 30 to 35 km long and the short marathon distance 15 to 20 km. The details have not yet been finalized and will be announced in another news item on Friday evening, January 20th. The online registration will remain open until Thursday, January 19, 20:00.

NEW: This time, the age group winners (youth classes and from D21/H21 every 10 years, 1st place each) will also receive a prize on the long and short marathon route at the award ceremony.

We look forward to a great 6th Lemming Loppet with you!
