Lemming Loppet as a circuit race

Unfortunately there was only a little fresh snow on the Kniebis. The 7th Lemming Loppet can therefore only take place on the night trail (2.5 km) prepared with artificial snow. Thanks to the technical snowmaking provided by the Skizunft Kniebis, the night trail is well covered with artificial snow, but in some places it is a bit too narrow for a fair mass start competition. Therefore, all races except for the children’s run will currently be held with individual starts. The competitions, courses and start times are as follows:

09:30 Long distance 20 km (8 * 2.5 km), individual start every 15 seconds, time of the first lap counts for the sprint classification over 20 km.

11:00 Short distance 10 km (4 * 2.5 km), individual start every 15 seconds, time of the first lap counts for the sprint classification over 10 km.

12:00 Student run 5 km (3 * 1.7 km), individual start every 15 seconds.

12:30 children’s run, all children run together, no timekeeping

13:00 Award ceremony with tombola

The ratings and prices remain as described in the advertisement. There are great prizes to be won and cash prizes in the sprint competitions. Following the award ceremony there will be a tombola with valuable prizes. Among other things, two pairs of Fischer skating skis and an overnight voucher from the Waldblick Hotel will be raffled off.

Online pre-registration is possible until Friday, January 19th, 8:00 p.m. Late registrations are possible on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on the day of the event from 8:00 a.m.

We look forward to a sunny day of cross-country skiing with you at Kniebis!

See you then, your Lemming Loppet Team!
