Lemming Loppet on January 21st will take place!

After a warm front on Wednesday, it will be winter again at Kniebis from Thursday. That’s why we want to offer you a cross-country skiing event on January 21st. Depending on the amount of fresh snowfall, this will be a ski marathon on a larger loop or just on the night trail prepared with artificial snow.

If the night trail is not wide enough for a mass start race, a race format with a prologue in an individual start over 4 laps (10 km) and subsequent final runs with 10 to 20 participants over 1 lap (2.5 km) will be offered. In this case, the student run will be held as an individual start over 2 laps (5 km).

The final courses and competitions will be fixed on Thursday, January 18th. published in a new news at 8:00 p.m. Online registration remains open until Friday, January 19th, 8:00 p.m. Participants who have already registered and do not like the race format that will be held can request a refund of the entry fee they have already paid by sending a request to info@lemming-loppet.de and providing an account number.

We would also prefer a snowy winter with clear conditions, but we want to make the most of what the current winter and the technical snowmaking at Kniebis offers us skiers.
