There was much snowfall at Kniebis the last weekend. The track of the marathon is groomed, and the weather forecast for the next two weeks seems to be fine. At this point of time the fifth Lemming Loppet could take place on the 23th of January 2022 under the specific conditions of the pandemic. According to present knowledge, we think that all participants, coaches and companions must be vaccinated or recovered. Unfortunately, there will be no spectators. We are about to work out the detailed hygiene measures,
which will be published on our website and sent to all the participants by e-mail at least 3 days before the event. Participants, who aren’t vaccinated or recovered the day of the event could ask for the refund of the entry fee by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org (please join your bank details).
After nearly 3 years, the Lemming Loppet would be the first cross country ski marathon in Germany to take place after all the cancellations because of the lack of snow in 2020 and corona in 2021.
So, look forward to being part of a magnificent weekend on ski in the snow at Kniebis like we do.
