"Bunter Hund" Children's Race Every child receives a present at the finish line (children participate with a bib number, but there is neither timekeeping nor classifaction)

Starting Blocks

There are two starting blocks each with the 15 km race and 30 km race: In the first starting block a maximum of 25 participants start and in the second start block all other participants. A participant is automatically assigned to the first starting block if he has achieved one of the following results with the Lemming Loppet 2018 (regardless of whether he is participating in 15 km or 30 km):

  • Place 1-10 men's overall rating
  • Place 1-5 Men's Sprint
  • Place 1-5 women overall rating
  • Place 1-3 women sprint

In addition, participants can apply for one of the remaining free places in the first starting block. Please send an e-mail to with the name according to current results.

Important: Only pre-registered participants are considered for the allocation of the starting points in the first starting block! This means that follow-up registrations can only be started in the second start block.

Should the Lemming Loppet cannot take place at all because weather conditions do not allow any cross-country skiing, the entry fee cannot be refunded due to organizational reasons.
Awards and tombola prizes will only be issued to those who are present.

The location does neither offer showers nor changing rooms. Toilets are available.


Snow situation / Technical snow:

Within the recent years, at the end of January we have typically experienced best cross-country skiing conditions at the venue Kniebis.

Additional snow security is provided by the artificial snow generation at Kniebis.
